About Us
In April 2024, I did something most people spend years thinking about but never quite dare to do — I quit my job.
It wasn’t an escape from a nightmare workplace. On paper, life was fine: stable income, decent hours, okay perks. But every morning I’d stare at my PC wondering, “Is this it?” That quiet itch inside me had grown into a roar. I needed to build something of my own. Not just a job. A mission.
That’s how Code Samaaj was born — a tech education initiative built on the belief that learning tech shouldn’t be scary or gatekept. My first workshop happened right at my old college campus. The place I once crammed for exams now hosted people eager to learn from me. It was surreal. A full house. Buzzing energy. Smiling faces.
That evening, sipping chai, I thought, “This is it. I’ve made it.” But then reality hit. The hard part wasn’t building. That was fun. The real challenge? Getting people to care.
I knew branding. Back in college, I’d built viral Instagram pages. I understood engagement, community, virality. But I never thought to apply it to myself. I’d built something real — but no one was talking about it. Why would they? I wasn’t showing up. I wasn’t telling my story. I was hoping the work would speak for itself. But in today’s world, silence doesn’t win. Storytelling does.
So I started sharing mine. Not on LinkedIn, not on YouTube — but on X. Because X is raw. It doesn’t care about fancy gear or edited reels. Only about the value you bring. That was liberating. I leaned on my old instincts, shared my lessons, my failures, my thoughts. Data + psychology + gut feelings guided me. And slowly, people started noticing.
I saw a pattern. Brilliant builders, creators, experts — stuck in silence. Waiting to be “discovered.” Hoping their work alone would get them noticed. That’s when it clicked: having a ₹2,000/hr skill is awesome. But having 1,000 people who genuinely believe in your story? That’s leverage. That’s reputation. Skills pay. But trust multiplies.
That realization led to Growth Guild — a home for the quietly excellent. For those who’ve earned their stripes but remain unseen. We exist to help people become known, trusted, and remembered. Not by luck. By design.
If you’re great at what you do but tired of being the best-kept secret…welcome. This is your sign. And your time.
